![]() Tuesday will feature a recovery of sorts, so the more tepid hunters among us might enjoy the sunshine despite the frosty chill in the morning. I’m not sure how many hunters enjoy tree stands in a wind-driven rain and temperatures in the upper 30s, but that looks like what you’re going to have to prepare for if you want to be out there at first light. Expect the rains to swing through overnight Sunday through Monday morning, and we’ll see crashing temperatures to match. But, eventually the rain will come, and the hunters especially should take note. but it helps lift the approaching rain to our north, carving out some pretty good hours on that day as well. As this storm approaches more fully on Sunday, we’ll see our winds picking up again. Temperatures again will reach up around 60°, so still a lot to be pleased with. ![]() Saturday will stay more cloudy than not, but as far as rain risks there will be at least a few spotty showers, mainly in the western counties. There is a storm system that is gathering strength to our west, but at first it will only send clouds our way. Skies continue to cloud up tonight, but it will be comfortable (by November standards) for the games tonight, with temperatures dropping through the 50s after dark. The mild air is a welcome treat to a Friday, but will still bring that elevated fire danger given the dry ground and dry vegetation - just forget about burning the leaf pile these days. Enjoy plentiful sunshine, at least at first, before fading to hazy clouds in from the west later today. (WSAZ) - Our pleasant southwesterly breezes continue to bring the mild air this morning, sending us to the 60s once more this afternoon.
